Who are Idaho’s Representatives?
Idaho is represented in the United States Congress by two Senators and two Representatives. The two Senators are Mike Crapo and James Risch. The two Representatives are Russ Fulcher and Mike Simpson.
Each Senator and Representative serves a four-year term. To be eligible to serve as a Senator or Representative, one must be at least 30 years of age, a U.S. citizen for at least nine years, and a resident of the state they are representing.
Each Senator and Representative is responsible for representing the interests of their state and its citizens in Congress. They serve on committees and subcommittees, introduce legislation, and vote on bills. They also work with the President and executive branch officials to ensure that the needs of their state are addressed.
Senators and Representatives are elected by their constituents. In Idaho, voters may cast their ballots in the primary election and the general election. During the primary election, voters select which candidate they would like to represent their party in the general election. During the general election, voters select which candidate they would like to represent the state in Congress.
In addition to their work in Congress, Senators and Representatives may also serve on state and local committees and boards, and hold town hall meetings to hear the concerns of their constituents.
By working together, Senators and Representatives are able to meet the needs of their constituents and ensure that the state of Idaho is represented in the best possible way. To learn more about Idaho’s Senators and Representatives, visit the GovTrack website.
