Eagle Idaho Field of Honor
The Eagle Idaho Field of Honor is a unique memorial honoring veterans of all wars and conflicts, located in Eagle, Idaho. The memorial was created in 2006 to honor the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. This memorial is one of the largest of its kind in the United States, with a total of 168 granite monuments, each representing a branch of the military.
The Eagle Idaho Field of Honor is located on a two-acre site at the intersection of Eagle Road and State Street in Eagle, Idaho. It is an open-air memorial, and visitors are welcome to visit and pay their respects to the veterans who have served our country. The memorial includes a central flagpole, a large granite map of the United States, and 168 monuments representing all branches of the United States Armed Forces. Each monument is inscribed with the insignia of the branch it represents, as well as the service member’s name and rank.
The Eagle Idaho Field of Honor also includes a “Walk of Honor” with inscribed bricks honoring veterans, a “Wall of Honor” with photographs of veterans, and a “Garden of Honor” with flowers and trees planted in honor of veterans. Each year, the memorial hosts a Veteran’s Day ceremony, a Memorial Day ceremony, and a Flag Day ceremony.
