Who are Idaho’s Senators?
Idaho is represented in the United States Senate by two senators, both of whom serve six-year terms. The current senators are Mike Crapo (Republican) and Jim Risch (Republican). Crapo has served in the Senate since 1999, and Risch has served since 2009.

Senators serve as elected representatives of their state in the United States Senate. They have the power to introduce and pass legislation, investigate national issues, advise the President, and serve on committees. Senators can also debate and vote on bills and treaties that affect the nation.
How Are Senators Elected?
Senators are elected by the people of their state. In Idaho, senators are elected in a statewide election every six years. To be eligible to run for Senate, a candidate must be at least 30 years old and have been a citizen of the United States for nine years.
