Eagle Ridge Dress Code

The Eagle Ridge dress code is an important part of the school’s culture and environment. It is designed to promote respect among students and to help maintain a safe and orderly learning environment. The dress code is also intended to create a sense of community and a unified school identity.

The dress code applies to all students in grades K-12. The following items are not allowed:

  • Clothing that is revealing or exposes body parts that are inappropriate in a school setting.
  • Clothing with offensive language, graphics, or symbols.
  • Clothing that is disruptive or is intended to cause disruption.
  • Clothing that is disruptive or is intended to cause disruption.
  • Clothing that is unsafe or dangerous.
  • Hats, hoods, sunglasses, and other headwear that is disruptive or intended to cause disruption.
  • Clothing that is too tight, too short, or otherwise inappropriate.

Students are expected to follow the dress code during school hours and at school-sponsored events. It is the responsibility of the student and the student’s parent or guardian to ensure that the student is in compliance with the dress code.

The principal or designee has the authority to determine if a student’s clothing is inappropriate and to take disciplinary action as appropriate. If a student is found to be in violation of the dress code, the student may be required to change into clothing that is appropriate for school.

The school reserves the right to make changes to the dress code as circumstances dictate. Students and parents should regularly check the school website for the most up-to-date information about the dress code.
